Spaces: one home for every part of your life

There used to be three kinds of shared place in Buhata. Now there's one, called a Space, and it works the same whether it holds your family, a trip, or a small business.

Buhata used to make you pick what kind of place you were creating before you could name it. A household, a team, a group. Each kind came with its own rules, its own caps, and its own vocabulary, and none of that ever helped anyone put the groceries on a list.

That's gone. There's one kind of shared place now. It's called a Space.

What a Space is

A Space holds the tools a set of people use together: the calendar, the lists, the chores, whatever you turn on for it. Your Personal Space is yours alone, it's free, and it never goes away. Beyond that, a Space can be your family, a trip you're planning with friends, or the food truck you run with your cousin. Buhata doesn't ask which; it just asks the name.

What stays yours

Sharing a Space doesn't share you. Money, health, journals and notes always stay each person's own. Everything you write is private until you put it somewhere shared on purpose, and joining someone's Space never opens your own entries to them, including whoever runs it.

How many you get

The free plan is your Personal Space. Plus runs 3 Spaces total, Premium runs 10, and a Winner's Circle win doubles whichever you have. Two more things worth knowing: a Space someone shares with you never counts against your own number, and a friend on the free plan can still join yours, read what's shared, and tick things off.

Seats

Plus includes one extra full seat and Premium includes three, so the people you live with can use the paid tools inside your shared Spaces without paying twice. One subscription covers the house, which has been the point since day one.

The smaller things you'll notice

Every theme in the app, all 47 of them, has been checked so the text stays readable on every card, in both light and dark, on a phone and on a desktop. The highlight color is one bright gold now, the one from the logo, instead of a different mustard on every theme. And the tools page on this site wears a cleaner set of marks, drawn in a single line weight rather than a folder of little pictures.

If you already use Buhata, all of this is live in your app today. If you don't, the free plan is the same one everything above is built on: see what's on it.
