Gifts is on Plus and Premium. It solves one problem: good ideas arrive months before they're useful and are gone by the time they matter.
Catching an idea
Add it against the person the moment you think of it, by hand or by voice. It sits there until the occasion comes round.
What you already gave
Every gift you record stays as history. When you add an idea close to something you have given that person before, Buhata says so. It matches loosely rather than exactly, so "blue scarf" and "a scarf, blue" are recognized as the same thought.
Occasions
Birthdays come from the people already in your household. Christmas is always in the list. Add your own for anything else, and choose whether it repeats every year or retires after this one.
Budgets
Set an amount per occasion. Buhata normalises them to a year, so a monthly thing and a yearly thing can be compared honestly.
Turning an idea into something that happens
Two buttons. One makes a task dated a week before the occasion, which is when you have to act rather than the day itself. The other drops it onto the grocery list if it's the kind of thing you pick up with the shopping.
