Pets: feeding, treatments and the next shots

The animal's own page, and why the vaccination warning looks like the Renewals one.

Pets comes with Plus. Every animal gets a page: what they eat and when, the treatments they're on, and the dates that matter.

Feeding

Set the times and who's meant to do it. The tick on the Handoff Card starts unticked every day, deliberately. A tick carried over from yesterday tells a sitter the dog's been fed when it hasn't.

Shots and treatments

A vaccination is a thing with an expiry date, which is what Renewals already handles, so Pets borrows that warning ladder instead of a second one written differently. Sixty days, thirty, seven. A flea treatment on a monthly cycle behaves the same way.

The microchip number

Buhata keeps the microchip number on your device and never sends it to the server. It's the one field on the page that doesn't sync. If you lose the animal, that number is what you read out to a vet, and it isn't ours to hold.

Handing over

A pet's feeding times and treatments show up on the Handoff Card, so a sitter gets them without you writing anything twice.
