There is no long setup. The fastest way to know whether Buhata suits you is to put one real thing into it and see what happens.
Day one: put in something true
Open the app and record one expense you actually made today. Press the plus, choose Expense or income, and write it the way you would say it out loud.
You should see it appear on today's date in the calendar, and the balance at the top change by that amount. If it did, everything else in the app works the same way.
Day two: let it remember something for you
Add a bill that repeats. A subscription, rent, the electricity. Give it the day of the month it lands on.
- The calendar will show it on every future date it falls due
- Your balance projects forward, so you can see the month before it happens
- Changing one month does not change the rest unless you ask it to
Day three: say it instead of typing it
Press the microphone and say what you would have typed. Several things in one breath is fine.
Nothing is written until you confirm it. You will see a list of everything it understood, each line editable, and a way to add anything it missed.
When it clicks
Most people find it lands on the day they stop opening a second app to check something. That is the whole point of it being one place.
