Buhata writes to your device first and syncs after. Most apps do it the other way round, and this course is about what that changes for you day to day.
Lesson 1: work with nothing
Turn off your data and use the app for five minutes. Add an entry, tick a task, look at the calendar.
All of it works. Nothing waits on a request, because nothing was going to ask permission before letting you write something down.
Turn the connection back on and watch the dot at the bottom of the sidebar. It'll show a time once it succeeds.
Lesson 2: what the dot is telling you
The dot is the only sync status you need. A time beside it means everything you've written is up.
If it never leaves waiting, that's the one symptom worth acting on, and lesson 5 covers what to do.
Lesson 3: two devices, two answers
The account is the source of truth. A device that's been offline takes its copy from the account when it reconnects, and anything it created that the account has never seen gets carried up.
Where both hold a version of the same thing, the account wins. Nothing you wrote gets overwritten by a device holding an older copy.
Lesson 4: moving to a new phone
Install Buhata, sign in, wait for the dot to show a time. Nothing needs exporting first.
One thing to do before you wipe the old phone: open it once with a connection, so anything it never managed to send goes up.
Lesson 5: when it looks stuck
Sign out and back in on whichever device seems behind. It takes a fresh copy from the account.
That's the whole repair. There's no cache to clear and no reinstall to do.
What you should be able to do now
- Use the app for a day with no signal and trust it
- Read the sync dot without guessing
- Move to a new device in under five minutes
