The things people ask first.
Can I sign up for Buhata with my .edu email?
No. A school address can't be a Buhata login, even when you sign in through Google, Microsoft or Apple. Make the account with your everyday email, then verify the .edu inside Buhata. The discount lands on that account, and your login survives graduation when the school closes the mailbox.
Which plans does the discount apply to?
The monthly Plus and Premium plans. Annual plans are excluded because they carry their own 20% saving. If you add Buhata Money while your student discount is running, the add-on comes down by 50% as well for the rest of your student period.
When does the clock start, and how long does it run?
Twelve months, counted from your first discounted payment rather than from the day you verify. Verifying in September and subscribing in January still gets you the full 12 months.
What happens after 12 months?
Your subscription carries on at the regular monthly price unless you cancel or switch plans before it renews. The exact date sits in your account, so the change never arrives as a surprise.
What if my school gives me a new email, or I graduate early?
You can verify a new school email on the same account when you need to, though it does not restart or extend the original twelve months. Graduating partway through leaves your promotional period running to its scheduled end.
Can I change my Buhata account email later?
Yes, whenever you like. The verified student email stays associated with the account for eligibility and abuse prevention, separately from whatever address you sign in with.
Can I use another discount at the same time?
Student pricing can't be combined with other subscription discounts or promotional pricing unless Buhata says otherwise, and where you qualify for more than one, the best single offer applies. Referral rewards are the exception on timing: anything you earn while the student discount runs is held and applied afterwards, so your discounted stretch gets longer rather than overlapping.
Can I use the offer more than once?
No. One twelve-month promotional period per eligible student and per Buhata account. Cancelling and coming back later does not reset the clock.
Why do you keep my verified student email on file?
So the same school address cannot be used to claim a second student offer somewhere else. Even after an account is deleted, a one-way cryptographic token of the address stays behind for that single purpose. It cannot be turned back into the address, and it is described in our Privacy Policy.
Buhata Student is open to currently enrolled students at eligible U.S. educational institutions, verified through a school-issued .edu email address and an enrollment confirmation. The offer is 50% off eligible monthly subscription plans for the first 12 months from activation, with regular pricing afterward. One promotional period per Buhata account and one claim per student email, ever. A school .edu address cannot be used as the account login; the account uses your everyday email and the .edu is used only for verification. The offer is non-transferable, applies to the monthly Plus and Premium plans only, and does not combine with other subscription discounts unless Buhata explicitly states otherwise. If the Buhata Money add-on is added while the student discount is active, it is 50% off as well for the remainder of the student period and returns to full price when the period ends. Referral rewards earned during the student period are saved and applied after it ends rather than stacking with it. The discounted amount is computed by the payment processor at billing time and is shown before you confirm. Buhata may investigate suspected abuse and may revoke promotional access obtained fraudulently. These terms sit alongside the Terms and Conditions and the Subscription and Cancellation page.
