No. A school address can't be a Buhata login, even when you sign in through Google, Microsoft or Apple. Make the account with your everyday email, then verify the .edu inside Buhata. The discount lands on that account, and your login survives graduation when the school closes the mailbox.

The monthly Plus and Premium plans. You can't buy an annual plan at the student rate, because annual already carries its own 20% saving. If you're on an annual plan when you verify, your rate stays as it is, with or without a friend's referral offer. Discounts don't stack, so your student discount goes on your account as Buhata credit: $30 on Plus and $70 on Premium, once per account. It comes off your next annual renewal in place of the 50%. It can come off a Household X or Team X add-on instead, if you buy or renew one first. If you move to a monthly plan before then, the student 50% runs there instead, and what's left of the credit goes. It also goes if the payment for your annual plan is refunded in full or charged back. An add-on bought in the 27 hours before your renewal pays its own price, so the renewal gets what's left of the credit. The credit is for annual plans you pay for on buhata.com or in the Windows app. An annual plan the App Store or Google Play bills renews there, and Buhata credit can't be spent on it.

Twelve months, counted from your first discounted payment rather than from the day you verify. Verifying in September and subscribing in January still gets you the full 12 months.

Your subscription carries on at the regular monthly price unless you cancel or switch plans before it renews. The exact date sits in your account, so the change never arrives as a surprise.

You can verify a new school email on the same account when you need to, though it does not restart or extend the original twelve months. Graduating partway through leaves your promotional period running to its scheduled end.

Yes, whenever you like. The verified student email stays associated with the account for eligibility and abuse prevention, separately from whatever address you sign in with.

Student pricing can't be combined with other subscription discounts or promotional pricing unless Buhata says otherwise. When you also have a friend's referral offer, the friend's offer runs first and your student discount follows it, whichever came first. So taking the offer never ends your student discount. On monthly, your first month is at the friend's half off. The student 50% starts at your second month and runs to the end of your first year. On annual, the friend's 30% off the full yearly price and the added month stand. Once the plan is paid, your student discount becomes Buhata credit in place of the 50%: $30 on Plus or $70 on Premium. It comes off your next renewal or an add-on, the same as for anybody already on an annual plan. Credit you earn by inviting friends is a balance on your account, so it comes off your invoice whatever price it's at. The Referral Program Terms have the details.

No. One twelve-month promotional period per eligible student and per Buhata account. Cancelling and coming back later does not reset the clock.

So the same school address cannot be used to claim a second student offer somewhere else. Even after an account is deleted, a one-way cryptographic token of the address stays behind for that single purpose. It cannot be turned back into the address, and it is described in our Privacy Policy.
